Gilded Copper Musical Clock with The Decoration of Elephant-Drawn Chariot in the Forbidden City

Most of the British clocks and watches in our collections were made in the 18th century and have different shapes and pattems. This clock is decorated with a group of warriors taking a chariot drawn by an elephant. With springs wound up, the eyes, trunk and tail of the elephant can move and it is the same with the four wheels of the chariot and the wheel under the belly of the elephant.
