Hall of Literary Brilliance in the Forbidden City
The Hall of Literary Brilliance is on the east of the Hall of Supreme Harmony. It was burned down during the attack of Li Zicheng in Beijing and was not rebuilt till 1682, the 21st year of the Kangxi reign.
The Hall of Literary Brilliance was the residence for crown princes in the Tianshun (1457-1464) and Chenghua (1488-1505) periods of the Ming dynasty.
